Anchor Hitch Knot

Description

The anchor hitch is used to attach a line to an object. This knot holds well even when tension on the line is changing, for instance with an anchor. The knot can be made more secure by adding a couple of half hitches.

	Begin with a round turn around the object
	Pass the end around the standing part
	Pass the end under the the turns
	Tighten and you're done
