On Sunday, November 9th from 5 PM to 9 PM The Sailing Club will host its annual End-of-Sailing-Season party.  The Club's Social Committee has a few surprises in store for us, so plan on arriving around 5 PM so that you can pour the beverage of your choice (it is BYOB, but we'll provide mixers), chat with other Club members, and peruse the pictures from this season.  We will begin serving around 5:45, so please get there prior to this time.  In the past, some members arrived late and missed a meal - and there are no "mustgo's" on this trip!  A reminder, those with their last name beginning with A through N bring an hors d'oeuvres or dinner dish. Those whose last names begin with O through Z bring a dessert.  Those out of town can order pizza for us.  (Sorry you won't be here to enjoy it)

For the "entertainment" portion of the evening, we ask that everyone bring a "nautical" white elephant item. Traditionally, white elephant items are things that we already have around the house and that we would be more than happy to NOT have around the house. We just ask that, in this case, they have a sailing/water theme and that they be wrapped in such a way as to disguise them well. (Please leave the water home) They can be big or small, significant or trivial...have real value or none at all. We will not disclose at this time, however, what else will be happening with these items. We anticipate, however, that in the ensuing fracas, we may learn much about each other that has, heretofore, been hidden.  (You'll, no doubt agree, that it is hard to hide much aboard a boat!)

South of Bedminster going north on 287

North on 287 take exit 22A (Pluckemin) onto 202/206 South take first right (Jug Handle) and head back north on 202/206 to very next light and take a right (Schley Mountain Road) to second right (Just before entrance onto 287). (Note: Schley Mountain Road will become Allen Road).

Travel approximately 1.6 miles to Hansom Road and take a right, (hint: you may see a school crossing sign. If you pass a bunch of stores on the right, you've gone too far) go past school on left, Rec Center is on the left just past the school with separate entrance.

North of Bedminster going south on 287

Take Bedminster exit (202/206 North) stay in right lane and take the jug handle to head on 202/206 South. Just under 287, and in the left lane take a left at Schley Mountain Road to second right (Just before entrance onto 287). (Note: Schley Mountain Road will become Allen Road).

West on Rt 78 to Exit 33. Right at light at end of exit ramp onto Martinsville/Mt. Airy Road. At 3rd traffic light, make left onto Allen Road. Proceed about 1 1/2 miles. Make left onto Hansom Road, after shopping center and school.
